Our practice handles litigation of all types, whether complex or more routine. The Cordova Law Firm represents clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts, and before a variety of administrative hearing boards and private arbitrators/mediators. Depending upon our clients' interests and our assessment of the legal matters at issue, we take cases to trial, resolve claims prior to trial, or use the power of mediation or arbitration to help bring matters to an amicable resolution.

Commitment to our clients forms the foundation of our practices. For example, we limit our personal injury practice to meritorious cases so that we can concentrate on fewer cases at one time and give each of those cases the dedicated attention they rightfully deserve. We choose not to operate as an injury case mill that takes on every case to walk through the door and relies on volume business.
Pete Cordova was born in 1948 and comes from the earliest families to settle the Colorado area before Colorado became a State. Soon after graduating from Sierra Grande High School in Fort Garland, CO, Pete "volunteered for the draft" and entered the US Army.

Zachary D. Cordova, Esq. is a partner at the Cordova Law Firm, LLP. Mr. Cordova is a life long resident of Salida, Colorado where he was born and raised. After graduating from Salida High School, Mr. Cordova bought a business where he "learned just how tough the world of business and life can be." This life lesson of owning a business at a young age really helped Mr. Cordova see the benefits of an education and decided to go back to school.
